Oh sweet serpent, I’d whisper sweet nothings too you
Had you ears apparent to hear them
Coiled enchanter, I would see you upon a pedestal of gold, high in the sunshine
If you could but climb to the top
Oh silvery-tongued fiend, I would capture the moon to wear about your neck
If only its weight would not crush you too the ground below
Cold-blooded beauty that I have grown to love, give you my heart I would
If I did not fear you’d swallow it whole
